HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #2135 ORDINANCE, NO. 2135 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP NO. 2 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO. 76-4 TO PROVIDE A NORTH/SOUTH ACCESS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF UTICA AVENUE BETWEEN FLORIDA STREET AND DELAWARE STREET WHEREAS. pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par- ticularly Government Code Sections 65351 et seq. , the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on October 19 , 1976 on Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 76-4-.to provide a north/south access north of Utica Street between Florida Street and Delaware Street; and On November 15, 1976, after notice duly given, hearing was held before this Council, and the matter having been con- sidered, the Council finds that said Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 76-4 is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the preservation of the rr health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incor- porated herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 76-4 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map 2 (Sectional District Map 2-6-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 76-4, to provide a north/south access north of Utica Avenue between Florida Street and Delaware Street. SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked JOC:er 1. f Exhibit "A1l, amending Sectional District Map 2-6-11, is herein- after more particularly described and shall be as follows : That portion of Blocks 2105, 2106 and 2206 of the East Side Villa Tract in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, page 65 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows : Beginning at the centerline intersection of Delaware Street and Utica Street as shown on said map; thence East along the centerline of Utica Street 330 . 00 feet to the intersection with the prolongation of the East line of Block 2105 of said East Side Villa Tract; thence North 30. 00 feet along said prolongation of said East line to a point on the South line of said Block 2105 being parallel with and 30. 00 feet north measured at right angles from said centerline of Utica Street, said point being the Southeast corner of Block 2105 and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence West 49. 00 feet along said South line of Block 2105 to a point of cusp on a tangent curve concave to the northwest having a radius of 24 . 00 feet; thence Easterly, Northeasterly and Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 9000010011 , an arc distance of 37 . 70 feet to a point on a line parallel with and 25 . 00 feet West measured at right angles to the East line of said Block 2105; thence North 265 . 07 feet along said line to a curve concave to the Southeast having a radius of 46 . 00 feet; thence Northerly and Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 2614755", an arc distance of 21.65 feet to a non-tangent line; thence North 20. 07 feet to the intersection with the North line of said Block 2105; thence East 20. 00 feet along said North line to a point on a non-tangent curve concave to the Southwest having a radius of 46. 00 feet, said point being the Northeast corner of Block 2105, a radial line to said point bears N 27009146" W; thence Easterly, Southeasterly, Southerly and Southwesterly along said curve through a central angle of 17104214411, an are distance of 137 . 86 feet to a reverse curve con- cave to the Southeast having a radius of 54. 00 feet, a radial to said point of reverse curve bears N 350 2710211 W; thence Southwesterly and Southerly along said curve through a central angle of 54032158", an arc distance of 51. 41 feet to a point on a line parallel with and 25. 00 feet east measured at right angles to the East line of said Block 2105; thence South 187. 84 feet along said line to a curve concave to the Northeast having a radius of 24 . 00 feet; thence Southerly, Southeasterly and Easterly through a central angle of 90° 00100" , an are distance of 37. 70 feet to 2, a point of cusp on the South line of Block 2106; thence West along said South line 49. 00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly news- paper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
