HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #2182 ORDINANCE N0. 2182 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP NO. 34 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO. 77-1 TO PROVIDE FOR THE ALIGNMENT OF TWO LOCAL STREETS LOCATED BETWEEN WARNER AVENUE AND LOS PATOS AVENUE WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, par- ticularly California Government Code Section 65500, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on February 15, 1977, on Precise Plan of Street Alignment No . 77-1 to provide for the alignment of two (2) 54 foot local streets . Said streets will be located between Warner Avenue and Los Patos Avenue and more specifically known as Green Street, located approximately 660 feet west of Bolsa Chica Street, and Lynn Street, located approximately 1320 feet west of Bolsa Chica Street; and On March 14, 1977, after notice duly given, hearing was held before this Council, and the matter having been con- sidered, the Council finds that said Precise Plan of Street Alignment No. 77-1 is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, in- corporated herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan No. 77-1 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map No. 34 (Sectional District Map 29-5-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No . 77-1 JOC ; er 1. to provide for the alignment of two local streets located between Warner Avenue and Los Patos Avenue . SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A," amending Sectional District Map 29-5-11 is herein- after more particularly described and shall be as follows : Those portions of Tract No . 86, Coast Boulevard Farms, in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 10 Pages 35 and 36 of Miscellaneous Maps of the office of the County Recorder of said County, de- scribed as follows : The East 27 feet of Block 18 of said Tract No. 86 The west 27 feet of Block 19 of said Tract No . 86 The east 27 feet of Block 19 of said Tract No. 86 The west 27 feet of Lot 3 of Block 20 of said Tract No. 86 The block lines all being shown as the centerline of 50 feet private roads as shown on the map of said Tract No. 86 . SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
