HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #2243 ORDINANCE NO. 2243 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF ADAMS AVENUE AND DELAWARE STREET (ZONE CASE NO. 77-23) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 77-23 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due con- sideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, and con- sistent with the General Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property located at the southeast corner of Adams Avenue and Delaware Street is hereby changed from R5, "Office Professional," and R5-0, "Office Professional Combined with Oil Production, " to (Q) Oldtown Specific Plan, District Two with the following conditions : 1. Each lot shall have a minimum size of 3,000 square feet and shall be less than 6,000 square feet; 2. Only one (1) single-family dwelling shall be con- structed on each lot; 3. Building designs including building footprints, building elevations, and floor plans shall be submitted for review at the same time the tentative tract is reviewed and approved for development; and 4. Zone Case No. 77-23 will become null and void if all of the above conditions are not executed within an eighteen (18) month period after its adoption. MT: cs 1. All that certain land situated in the state of California, county of Orange, city of Huntington Beach, described as follows : The south half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 6 south, Range 11 west, in the Rancho Las Bolsas , as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County. Excepting therefrom the south 200. 00 feet thereof, and The west half of the north half of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 6 south, Range 11 west in the Rancho Las Bolsas , as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County. SECTION 2. The Planning Director of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby directed to change District Map 12 (Sectional District Map 11-6-11) to incorporate the zone change described in Section 1 hereof, and as said district map shall have been amended, the same shall be in full force and effect and be a part of i, the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code . A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. Section 9061, District Map 12 thereof, is hereby amended by Zone Case No. 77-23. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in Huntington Beach, California.
