ORDINANCE NO. 2412 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP DM 12 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO.79-4 TO REDUCE THE WIDTH OF LAKE STREET BETWEEN INDIANAPOLIS AVENUE AND ORANGE AVENUE WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, parti- ticularly California Government Code Section 65500, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on July 2, 1979, to reduce the width of Lake Street from its existing 100 foot right-of-way to a 90 foot right-of-way between Indianapolis Avenue and Orange Avenue; and On August 6, 1979, after notice duly given, hearing was held before this Council, and the matter having been considered , the Council finds that said Precise Plan 79-4 is reasonably necessary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic, for the r ery p es anon of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . That the real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto, incorporated herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan No. 79-4 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map 12 (Sectional District Map 11-6-11) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No. 79-4 to reduce the width of Lake Street from its existing 100 foot right-of-way to a 90 foot right-of-way between Indianapolis Avenue and Orange Avenue. JG:ps 7/25/79 1 . SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked Exhibit "A" amending District Map 12 , is hereinafter more particularly described and shall be as follows : That portion of Section 11 , Township 6 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas , City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in book 51 , page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: A strip of land 90.00 feet in width shown as Railroad Avenue (now Lake Street) on a map of Huntington Beach Main Street Section recorded in book 3 , page 43 and on a map of Wesley Park Section recorded in book 4, page 17, all in the office of the County Recorder of said County; bounded on the South by the Southeasterly prolongation of Orange Avenue as shown on said map of Huntington Beach Main Street Section and on the North by the East- West Quarter Section Line of said Section 11. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause same to be published within fifteen days after adoption in the Huntington Beach Independent, a news- paper of general circulation.
