ORDINANCE NO. 2581
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH
AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE
BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE
FOR CHANGE OF ZONING OF VARIOUS DISTRICTS TO
MOBILEHOME DISTRICT (ZONE CASE NO . 82-8 )
WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the

Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City
Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case
No. 82-8 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all in-
formation presented at said hearings , and after due consideration
of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission
and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council
finds that such zone change is proper, and consistent with the
general plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach does ordain as follows :
SECTION 1. The following described real property, designated A.
consisting of 9. 2 acres , located at the southeast corner of Garfield
Avenue and Huntington Street, is hereby changed from R5, "Office
Professional District" to MH, "Mobilehome District : "
The north 660 feet of the west 660 feet ex-
cluding the north 55 feet of the west 150 feet
of the northwest quarter of the northeast
quarter of Section 2, Township 6, Range 11.
SECTION 2. The following described real property, designated B,
consisting of 11. 9 acres, located at the southeast corner of
Edinger Avenue and Saybrook Lane, is hereby changed from R2, "Medium
Density Residential District" to MH, "Mobilehome District : "
The north 660 feet of the west 745 feet of
the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter
of Section 20, Township 5, Range 11.
SECTION 3• The following described real property, designated C,

consisting of 18 .6 acres located at the southeast corner of
Huntington Street and Atlanta Avenue , is hereby changed from R5,
"Office Professional District" to MH, "Mobilehome District :"
The westerly half of the northwest quarter

SECTION 4. The followingdescribed real property, designated D,
consisting of six acres located on the north side of Pacific Coast
Highway between Beach Boulevard and Newland Street, is hereby changed
from RA-0, "Residential Agriculture District, " combined with oil pro-
duction to MH, "Mobilehome District : "

SECTION 7. The Development Services Director is hereby directed

District Map 23 (Sectional District Map 20-5-11) , District Map 16
( Sectional District Map 14-6-11 ) , and District Map 14 (Sectional
District Map 13-6-11) to reflect Zone Case No. 82-8 described in
Sections 1 through 6 hereof. A copy of said district maps , as
amended hereby are available for inspection in the office of the
City Clerk.
SECTION 8. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days
after_ its adoption.
