I II ORDINANCE NO . 2585 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 31 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN NO. 82-3 TO ALTER THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR CYPRESS AVENUE BETWEEN BEACH BOULEVARD AND ELM STREET j WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning and Zoning Law, parti- cularly California Government Code Section 65500, the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given, held a public hearing on September 21, 1982 to consider Precise Plan No. 82-3, to alter the right-of-way from sixty feet to fifty-four feet on Cypress Avenue between Beach Boulevard and Elm Avenue; and On October 25, 1982, after notice duly given, hearing was before this Council, and the matter having been considered, the Council finds that said Precise Plan No. 82-3 is reasonably nec- essary to the orderly and efficient flow of traffic , for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the city, and for the orderly development of the community, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That real property hereinafter described and shown on the map marked Exhibit A attached hereto, incorporated herein and by reference made a part hereof, is hereby designated and adopted as Precise Plan No. 82-3 of the City of Huntington Beach. SECTION 2. District Map 31 (Sectional_ District Map 26-5-11 ) is hereby amended to include Precise Plan No. 82-3 to alter the right-of-way from sixty to fifty-four feet on Cypress Avenue be- tween Beach Boulevard and Elm Street. /ahb 9/17/82 1. SECTION 3. The precise plan, as shown on the map marked Exhibit A, amending Sectional District Map 26-5-11 , is herein- after more particularly described and shall be as follows: The south 54. 00 feet of the north 841. 42 feet of the east 417. 42 feet of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 26, Town- ship 5 South, Range 11 West, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 13, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County. Excepting therefrom those portions previously dedicated for highway purposes. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall_ take effect thirty days after its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of November 1982.
