HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #2595 I ORDINANCE N0. 2595 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING FROM MEDIUM DENSITY PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, COMBINED WITH OIL PRODUCTION, AND MEDIUM DENSITY PLANNED RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT/CIVIC DIS- TRICT, COMBINED WITH OIL PRODUCTION TO OFFICE PROFESSIONAL/CIVIC DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH OIL PRODUCTION ON REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LO- CATED NORTH OF YORKTOWN AVENUE, EAST OF MAIN STREET (ZONE CASE NO. 82-12) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 82-12 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings , and after due considera- tion of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, and consistent with the general plan, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The following described real property, generally located 600 feet north of Yorktown Avenue and 500 feet east of Main Street , is hereby changed from R2-01-PD, "Medium Density Planned Residential Development District," combined with oil pro- duction, and R2-0-PD-CD, "Medium Density Planned Residential De- ahb 11/9/82 1. velopment/Civic District, " combined with oil production, to R5-01-CD, "Office Professional/Civic District," combined with oil production: That portion of the south half of the northwest quarter of Section 2, Township 6 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas, as shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, described as follows : Beginning at the southeasterly terminus of that certain course shown as north 89140101" west 266. 30 feet, as shown on map recorded in Book 144, pages 4 and 5 of Parcel Maps ; thence north 0125' 08" east 139. 83 feet ; thence south 89034 ' 52" east 240. 00 feet.; thence south 0025' 08" west 240. 00 feet; thence north 89034152" west 34. 00 feet; thence south 0025' 08" west 33. 00 feet; thence south 59049130" west 70. 83 feet; thence north 89°3452" west 42. 00 feet to the easterly line of Parcel 1 of said parcel map; thence along said easterly line the following courses : north 0030' 00" east 69 . 00 feet, north 89084 ' 52" west 103. 21 feet and north 0025' 08" east 100.17 feet to the true point of beginning. Containing an area of approximately 1. 460 acres . SECTION 2. The Development Services Director is hereby di- rected to amend Section 9061, District Map 2 (Sectional District Map 2-6-11) to reflect Zone Case No. 82-12, described in Sec- tion 1 hereof. A copy of said district map, as amended hereby is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption.
