Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #2738 ORDINANCE NO. 2738 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTNGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH OIL PRODUCTION AND CIVIC DISTRICT TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DIS- TRICT, COMBINED WITH 01 OIL PRODUCTION AND CIVIC DISTRICT; FROM RESTRICTED MANUFAC- TURING DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH CIVIC DIS- TRICT, TO RESTRICTED MANUFACTURING DIS- TRICT, COMBINED WITH 01 OIL PRODUCTION AND CIVIC DISTRICT; FROM RESTRICTED MANUFAC- TURING DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH OIL PRODUC- TION AND CIVIC DISTRICT TO RESTRICTED MANUFACTURING DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH 01 OIL PRODUCTION AND CIVIC DISTRICT; AND FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH OIL PRO- DUCTION TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, COMBINED WITH 01 OIL PRODUCTION ON REAL PROPERTY GENER- ALLY LOCATED NORTHEASTERLY OF GOLDENWEST STREET AND GARFIELD AVENUE (ZONE CASE NO. 84-16) WHEREAS, pursuant to state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 84-16 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all in- formation presented at said hearings, and after due consideration of the findings and recommendation of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, and consistent with the general plan, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . The following described real property, generally located northeasterly of Goldenwest Street and Garfield Avenue, is hereby changed from Ml-O-CD, "Light Industrial District, " combined ahb 10/4/84 0250L 1. i I with oil production and civic district, to Ml-01-CD, "Light Indus- trial District, " combined with 01 oil production and civic dis- trict (Parcel 1) ; from Ml-A-CD, "Restricted Manufacturing Dis- trict, " combined with civic district, to M1-A-01-CD, "Restricted Manufacturing District, " combined with 01 oil production and civic district (Parcel 2) ; from Ml-A-O-CD, "Restricted Manufacturing District, " combined with oil production and civic district, to Ml-A-01-CD, "Restricted Manufacturing District, " combined with 01 oil production and civic district (Parcel 3) ; and from Ml-O, "Light Industrial District, " combined with oil production, to M1-01, "Light Industrial District, " combined with 01 oil produc- tion (Parcel 3) : PARCEL 1 : Lot 4, Block F of Garfield Street Addition, city of Huntington Beach, county of Orange, state of California. PARCEL 2: Lots 5, 6, 7, 10, 14, 15, and 27, Block F of Garfield Street Addition, city of Huntington Beach, county of Orange, state of California. The Development Services Director is hereby di- rected to amend section 9061, District Map 39 (Sectional District Map 35-5-11) to reflect Zone Case No. 84-16, described in Section 1 hereof. A copy of said district map, as amended hereby, is available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its passage.
