Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #2783 r ��S ORDINANCE NO. 2783 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING FROM HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL TO HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL COMBINED WITH SERVICE STATION SUFFIX ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF ADAMS AVENUE AND MAGNOLIA STREET (ZONE CASE NO. 85-7) WHEREAS, pursuant to state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 85-7 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all in- formation presented at said hearings , and after due consideration of the findings and recommendation of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council , the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, and consistent with the general plan, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The following described real property, generally located at the northeast corner of Adams Avenue and Magnolia Street , is hereby changed from C4, "Highway Commercial District" to C4-SS, "Highway Commercial District , " permitting the location of a service station: That portion of Lot 85, as shown on Tract No. 4493 in the city of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 159, pages 7 to 11 inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps , records of the County Recorder of said county, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the southerly terminus of that certain course having a bearing of north 0"37 ' 01" west and a distance of 500.00 feet, as 1 . SECTION 2. Section 9061 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, District Map 6 (Sectional District Map 6-6-10) is hereby amended to reflect the change contained in this ordinance and on the map attached hereto. The Director of Development Services is hereby directed to prepare and file an amended map. A copy of said district map, as amended, shall be available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its passage . PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of adjourned Huntington Beach at a/regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day of August 1985.
