HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #2790 ORDINANCE NO. 2790 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING FROM TOWNLOT SPECIFIC PLAN - AREA ONE (SECTION A) , COMBINED WITH OIL, TO TOWNLOT SPECIFIC PLAN - AREA ONE (SECTION A) ON REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON TENTH STREET AND WALNUT AVENUE (ZONE CASE NO. 85-6 AMENDED) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state Planning and Zoning Law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case No. 85-6 wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings, and after due consider- ation of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper, and consis- tent with the general plan. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The following described real property, gen- erally located on Tenth Street and Walnut Avenue, is hereby changed from Townlot Specific Plan - Area One (Section A) , combined with oil, to Townlot Specific Plan - Area One (Section A) : Lots 2 and 4 of Block 209 of Huntington Beach Tract, City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California.- SECTION 3 . Section 9061 of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code, District Map 12 (Sectional District Maps 11-6-11) is hereby amended to reflect the change contained in this ordinance and on the map attached hereto. The Director 1. of Development Services is hereby directed to prepare and file an amended map. A copy of such district map, as amended, shall be available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its passage.
