HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #2856 ORDINANCE NO. 2856 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF DISTRICT MAPS 10 AND 12 TO CHANGE ALL C3 DISTRICTS TO Cl, C2 AND OLDTOWN ( ZONE CHANGES 86-10, 86-11, 86-12, 86-13, 86-14, 86-15 AND 86-16) WHEREAS, pursuant to the state planning and zoning law, the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and the Huntington Beach City Council have had separate public hearings relative to Zone Case Numbers 86-10, 86-11, 86-12, 86-13, 86-14, 86-15 and 86-16, wherein both bodies have carefully considered all information presented at said hearings, and after due consideration of the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission and all evidence presented to said City Council, the City Council finds that each zone change is proper and consistent with the General Plan NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows : SECTION 1 . The following described real properties on District Map Numbers 10 and 12 currently zoned C-3 (General Business) shall be changed to C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) , C2 (General Business District) and Oldtown Specific Plan, District One, as specified: ZONE CASE 86-10 Lots 1 and 2 of Block 604, of Vista del Mar ( C3 to Oldtown Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, Specific Plan) Page 5, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County. ZONE CASE 86-11 Lots 19 and 20 of Block 605, of Vista del Mar (C3 to Oldtown Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, Specific Plan) Page 5, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County. SECTION 2, The Development Services Director is hereby directed to amend Section 9061, District Map Numbers 10 and 12 ( Sectional District Maps 10-6-11 and 11-6-11) to reflect Zone Case Numbers 86-10, 86-11, 86-12, 86-13, 86-14, 86-15 and 86-16, described in Section 1 hereof . Copies of said district maps, as amended hereby, are available for inspection in the office of the City Clerk. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its adoption.
