AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING
THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 9061 THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR CHANGE OF ZONING
FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, MEDIUM HIGH DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL TO TOWNLOT SPECIFIC PLAN SECTION 'A' , ON
REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON EIGHT ACRES BETWEEN
GOLDENWEST STREET, PALM AVENUE, TWENTY-SECOND STREET
AND WALNUT AVENUE ( ZONE CHANGE NO. 88-14 )
WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Planning and Zoning Law,
the Huntington Beach Planning Commission and Huntington Beach
City Council have held separate public hearings relative to Zone
Change No . 88-14 wherein both bodies have carefully considered
all information presented at said hearings, and after due
co 0 of th consideration of the findings and recommendations e
Planning Commision and all evidence presented to the City
Council, the City Council finds that such zone change is proper,

and consistent with the General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the
City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1 . The following described real property,
generally located between Goldenwest Street, Palm Avenue,
Twenty-Second Street and Walnut Avenue, is hereby changed from
R2 (Medium Density Residential) , R3 (Medium-High Density
Residential) , and R4 (High Density Residential) to Townlot
Specific Plan Section A:
Being a portion of the Huntington Beach Tract
Seventeenth Street Section, Orange County, California,
recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 4, page 10.
Portion includes Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18,
20-24, 26 , 28 of Block 222, Lots 1-12 , 14 , 16, 18, 20 ,
22 , 24-28 of Block 322 , and Lots 1-28 of Blocks 422,
522 and 622 .
SECTION 2 . The Director of Community Development is
hereby directed to amend Section 9061, District Map 3 (Sectional
District Map 3-6-11 ) and District Map 10 (Sectional District Map
10-6-11 ) to reflect Zone Change No. 88-14, described in Section
1 hereof . Copies of said district maps, as amended hereby, are
available for inspection in the Office of the City Clerk .

SECTION 3 Th
is ordinance shall take effect thirty
( 30 ) days after its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held
on the 5th day of December , 1988 .

of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach is seven;
that the foregoing ordinance was read to said City Council at a regular
meeting therof held on the 7th day of November
19 89 , and was again read to said City Council at a regular
meeting therof held on the 5th day of December , 1988 and
was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of at least a majority of
all the members of said City Council .
