Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance #3127 ORDINANCE NO. 3127 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE BY AMENDING DISTRICT MAP 38 AND 3 TO INCLUDE PRECISE PLAN OF STREET ALIGNMENT NO. 91-1 ALIGNING GARFIELD AVENUE BETWEEN EDWARDS STREET AND GOLDENWEST STREET WHEREAS, pursuant to the State Planning and Zoning Law, the California Government Code Sections 65493 et . seq. , the Planning Commission of the City of Huntington Beach, after notice duly given held a public hearing, to consider Precise Plan of Street Alignment No . 91-1 to align Garfield Avenue between Edwards Street and Goldenwest Street; and ` On November 18, 1991, after notice duly given, a public hearing was held before the City Council, and the alignment having been considered, the City Council finds that Precise Plan of Street Alignment No . 91-1 is reasonable necessary to the orderly and efficient flog of traffic, for the preservation of the health and safety of the inhabitants of the City and for the orderly development of the Community; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain: SECTION 1. That the real property hereinafter described and shown on District Map 38 (Sectional District Map 34-5-11) marked Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein an h p d the real property described and shown on District Map 3 (Sectional District Map 3-6-11) marked Exhibit B also attached hereto and incorporated herein is amended i e ded to include Precise Plan f r p o Street Alignment No . 91-1 of the City of Huntington Beach: 1 To establish the precise centerline alignment of Garfield Avenue between Edwards Street and Goldenwest Street, in the City of Huntington Beach, County of Orange, State of California, through section 34, township 5 south, range 11 west, and section 2 and 3 , township 6 south, range 11 west, San Bernardino base and meridian, all as shown on the maps recorded in book 51, pages 13 and 14 of miscellaneous maps, records of Orange County, California, which is more particularly described as : beginning at the centerline point of intersection for Garfield Avenue and Edwards Street, as shown on the map E recorded in book 92, pages 19 through 28 inclusive of records of surveys, records of said Orange County, said point being the south quarter corner of said section 34; thence south 89042 ' 05" east 2639 . 70 feet along the south line of the southeast quarter of said section 34, to the southeast corner thereof, said corner being the centerline point of intersection of said Garfield Avenue and Goldenwest Street. h ii SECTION 2 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after passage.
