HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #3143 ORDINANCE NO. 3143 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING THE HUNTINGTON BEACH ORDINANCE CODE, SECTION 9300(d)-SEACLIFF SPECIFIC PLAN (CODE AMENDMENT NO. 91-7) WHEREAS, after notice duly given pursuant to Government Code Section 65500, the Planning Commission and City Council of the City of Huntington Beach have held separate public hearings on Code Amendment No. 91--7 (Seacliff Specific Plan) and is Negative Declaration No. 90-28; and Amendment of the Seacliff Specific Plan, located southeasterly of current terminus of Seapoint Avenue, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, is the most desirable method of providing regulated development of the area included within the Specific Plan and is in accord with the objectives set out in such Specific Plan; and On May 4 1992, after duly given notice, a hearing was held before this Council on Code Amendment No. 91-7 (Seacliff Specific Plan) and Negative Declaration No. 90-28, and the Council finds that incorporation of Tentative Tract Map No. 14277 into the Specific Plan is necessary for the j orderly, regulated development of real property included within the immediate area, and finds that the policies and procedures set out in the Specific Plan are satisfactory and in agreement h with the general concept as set out in the City' s General Plan, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does ordain as follows: i SECTION 1. Section 9300(d) of the Huntington Beach Ordinance Code is hereby amended to read as follows : I' Section 9300(d) . Seacliff Specific Plan SECTION 2 . Section C (14) Recreation QPen Space Replacement of the Seacliff Specific Plan is repealed. �I SECTION 3 . Section D (1) (b) Permitted Uses of the Seacliff Specific Plan is hereby amended to read as follows : (b) Maximum number of units permissible shall be 169 detached units. SECTION 4 . This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after its passage. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of June 1992 .
