HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #4083 ORDINANCE NO 4083 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH AMENDING SECTION 10 84 120 OF THE HUNTING I'ON BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO IMPOUNDING PARKED BICYCLES The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby ordain as follows SECTION I Section 10 84 120 of the Huntington Beach Municipal Code is hereby amended to lead as follows 10.84.1201mpounding—Parked Bicycles No person shall pack or leave a bicycle in the area between Pacific Coast Highway and the mean high tide line of the Pacific Ocean in a manner so as to block of impede any load, vehicle route, walkway or path, or so as to block of impede ingress or egress from any building, stair, pier or bridge No person shall leave a bicycle locked or unlocked in any public place in excess of 72 hours, 01 left abandoned as evidenced by signs of disuse or neglect Any bicycle so patked or left abandoned may be impounded by the Connnnunity Services Department or by the Police Department, and may be held until the sum of five dollars has been collected to deiiay the cost of impound SECTION 1 This oidmance shall become effective 30 days after its adoption PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of tine City of Huntington Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21 s t day of March , 2016 r' r I MaycK ATTEST = APPROVED /FORM ity Clerk V City Attorney r REVI ND APPROVED• I ITIATED AND APPR ED: Pity NYanagej Chief of Police 16-5127/132031 Ord.
