RESOLUTION #144
Whoteas, owing to a pressure of other business, J. L.
McBride has found it impossible to attent to the duties of
City Engineer, and has tendered his resignation from that
office.
Therefore, be it Resolved, that the above resignation
be accepted and a vote of thanks be extended to Mr. McBride
for his failfull services, and that the office of City
Engineer be and hereby is declared vacant.
Moved by Stewart, seconded by French that Resolution
No. 144 be adopted as read.

Moved by Helme, seconded by French, that Resolution
No. 145, approving the appointment of Cal D. Lester as
Deputy City Clerk (a copy of which is hereto attached and
is hereby made a part of these minutes as if herein fully
set forth) be adopted.
