RESOLUTION NO. 152
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALI-
FORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO I!TPROVE A
PORTION OF MAGNOLIA AVENUE IN SAID CITY OF HUNT-
INGTON BEACH.
Be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Hunt-
ington Beach:
Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require
and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of
Huntington Beach to order the following work to be done , to-wit:
That the entire width of the roadway of Magnolia Avenue, in
said city, from the east line of Eleventh Street to the West line
of Alabama Avenue, including all intersections of streets , (except-
ing such portions of said streets and intersections of streets as
are required by law to be kept in order or repair by any person
or company having railroad tracks thereon, and also excepting
such portions as have alre2dy been Waded, sanded and oiled to the
official line and accepted, and also excepting the right of way of the
Southern Pacific Railroad Company, ) be graded, sanded and oiled to
the official grade in accordance with the plans , profiles and cross-
sections for said work on file in the office of the city Engineer
of said City, said plans , profiles and cross-sections being; No.18;
and in further accordance with specifications for grading, sending
and oiling streets in the City of Huntington Beach, on file in the
office of the City Clerk of said City, said specifications being
No.5 as adopted by Ordinance No.69 of said City, and which said
plans, profiles and cross-sections and specifications are hereby •
referred to for a more ?articular description of said work.

Section 2. The Street Superintendent shall post notice
of this work as required by law. He shall also cause said notice
to be published by one insertion. in the Huntington Beach News ,
a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said city of
Huntington Beach, which is hereby designated by the Board of Trus-
tees of the said City of Huntington Beach as the newspaper in which
said notice shall be posted by said Street Superintendent.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this resolution of intention, and shall post the same conspicuously
for two (2) days on or near the council chamber door of said Board.
He shall also cause the same to be published by two insertions in
the Huntington Beach ;News , a weer>ly newspaper published and circu-
lated in the said ity of Huntington Beach, and hereby designated
by the Board of Trustees of said City of Huntington Beach for that
pur-pose .
Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of
Huntington Beach this 17 day cf October, 1910.
