A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO It-PROVE A PORTION OF GENEVA STREET OF THE SAID CITY, AND PROVIDING THAT THE PROPOSED WORK BE DONE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF AN ACT OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA PROVIDING FOR WORK UPON AND T1-E CON- STRUCTICN OF SIDEWALKS AND CURBING WITHIN MUNI- CIPALITIES, APPROVED 14ARCH 6, 1909. The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do resolve as follows : Section 1. That the public inteSest and convenience require and that tt is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach to order the following work to be done, to-wit: That cement curbs be constructed along each and both sides of Geneva Street from the East property line of Alabama Avenue to the west property line of Delaware Avenue (excepting such portions of said Geneva Street between said points along which a. cement curb has already been constructed and now is to the official line and grade) , in accordance with Specifications No.l as adopted by Ordinance No.28 of the said City of Huntington Beach for the construction of Cement Curbs in the City of Hunt- ington Beach, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City and also in accordance with the plans, profiles and cross sections for said work on :file in the office of the City Engineer of said City, said plans , profiles , and cross-secticns being Numbered No.20, to which said plans , profiles, cross-sections and specifications reference is hereby made for a, more particular 1 . • description of said work. Section 2. That the proceedings for the aforesaid improve- ment ment shall be taken under an act of the legislature of the state of California entitled, "An Act to provide for work upon and the construction of sidewalks and curbing within municipalities , Approved March 6, 1�3,09. Section 3. The Street Superintendent shall post notice of this work as required by law. Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the same to be -oublished by two consecutive insertions in the Huntington Beach Mews , a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the said City of Huntington Beach, and shall post the same conspicuously on or near the cham- ber door of the Board of Trustees , to-wit; the door of the City Hall of the City of Huntington Beach, and thereupon and there- after it shall take effect and be in full force. Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach this 5th day of December, 1910. Ed.
