A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTEN-
TION TO I11PROVE A PORTION OF FRANKFORT STREET
IN SAID CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
Be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City
of Huntington Beach, California:
Section 1. That the public interest and convenience re-
quire and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City
of Huntington Beach to order the following work to be done , to-wit
That the entire width of the roadway of Frankfort Street
in the said City, from the East property line of Alabama Ave-
nue to the East property line of Delaware Avenue ( including
all intersections of streets except such portions of said
streets and intersections of streets as are required by law to
be kept in order or repair by any person or company having rail-
road tracks thereon, and also excepting such portions as have
already been graded and sanded and oiled to the official line
and accepted) , be graded, sanded and oiled tote official grade
in accordance with the plans, profiles and cross-sections for
said work on file in the office of the City Engineer of said
City, said plans , profiles and cross-sections being numbered
No.20, and in further accordance with specifications for grad-
ing, sanding and oiling streets in the City of Huntington Beach,
on file in the office of the city clerk of said City, said
specifications being Number 5 as adopted by Ordinance N o.69 of
said City, and which said plans , profiles , cross-sections and
specifications are hereby referred to, for a more particular
description of said work.
Section 2. The Street superintendent shall post notice
of this work as required by law. He shall also cause said notice
to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News ,
a weekly newspaper published and circulated insaid City of Hunt-
ington Beach, which is hereby designated by the Board of Trustees
of the said City of Huntington Beach as the newspaper in which
said notice shall be published by said Street Superintendent.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this Resolution of Intention, and shall post the s, me con-
spicuously for two( 2) days on or near the Council Chamber_=_door
df said Board. He shall also cause the same to be published
by two (2) insertions in the Huntington Beach News , a weekly
newspaper published and circulated in the said City of Huntington
Beach and hereby designated by the Board of Trustees of the said
City of Huntington Beach for that purpose, and thereupon and
thereafter it shall take effect an-a' be in force.
Passed and adopted by the Board of `"rustees of the City
of Huntington Beach this 5th day of December, 1910.

Resolution of Intention was passed af?d adopted by the said
Board of Trustees and attedted by the City Clerk of said
City and signed by the president of said Board of Trustees
at a regular meeting of said Board of Trustees held on the
5th day of December, 1010, and that said Resolutiom was
gassed and adopted by the following vote:
Ayes : Helme, Seely, Stewart, French, Manning.
