RESOLUTION N0. 185
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, ORDERING
CERTAIN WORK TO BE DONE ON FRANKFORT STREET
IN SAID CITY.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington
Beach, do resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the public interest and con-
venience require and that the Board of Trustees of the City
of Huntington Beach, hereby orders the following street work
to be done, to-wit:
That the entire width of the roadway of Frankfort
Street, in the said City, from the East property line of
Alabama Avenue to the East -property line of Delaware Avenue
(including all intersections of streets except such portions
of said streets and intersections of streets as are required
by law to be kept in order or repair by any person or company
having railroad tracks thereon, and also excepting such
portions as have already been graded and sanded and oiled to
the official line and accepted) , be graded, sanded and oiled
to the official grade in accordance with the plans, profiles
and cross-sections for said work on file in the office of the
City Engineer of said City, said plans, profiles and cross-
sections being numbered No. 20, and in further accordance

with specifications for grading, sanding and oiling streets
in the City of Huntington Beach, on file in the office of the
City Clerk of said City, said specifications being Number 5 ,
as adopted by Ordinance No. 69 of said City, and which said
plans, profiles, cross-sections and specifications are hereby
referred to for a more particular description of said work.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby .directed to
publish a notice of said public work, inviting sealed
proposals or bids for doing said work and referring to the
specifications, posted or on file by two (2) insertions in
the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper published and
circulated in said City and hereby designated by the Board of
Trustees of said City of Huntington Beach for that purpose.
Said notice shall require a certified check or bond,
either as required by law, and for an amount not less 'than
ten percent of the aggregate of the proposal . Said City Clerk
is also directed to post said notice with specifications for
five (5) days conspicuously on or near the council chamber
door of said Board of Trustees, to-wit: on or near the door
of the City Hall of the City of Huntington Beach.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall- certify to the
passage of this Resolution and shall cause thes9me to be
published by two (2) insertions in the Huntington Beach News,
a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said City of
Huntington Beach hereby designated for that purpose.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the

City of Huntington Beach and signed by the President thereof
on the 6th day of February, 1911.

6th day of February, 1911 , and that said Resolution was passed
and adopted by the following vote: -
