A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUN`1'INGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING T=aEIR INTENTION TO RdPROVE A PORTION? OF EIG_�TH STREET IN SAID CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA. ------------- That Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and con- venience require and that it is the intention of the board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach to order the following work to be done, to-wit: That the entire width of the roadway of Eighth Street, in said City, from the North line of Ocean Avenue to the South line of Palm Avenue, ( including all intersections of streets and excepting such portions of said streets and intersections of streets as are required by law to be kept in order or repair by any person or company having railroad tracks thereon, and also excepting such portion as have already been graded, sanded and oiled to the official line and grade accented) be graded, sanded end oiled to the official line in accordance with the plans, profiles and cross-sections for said work on file in the office of the City Engineer of said City, said plans, profiles and cross- sections for said work on file in the office of the City 1. • Engineer of said City, said plans, profiles and cross-sections being numbered No. 26; and in further accordance with the specifications for grading, sending and oiling streets in the City of Huntington Beach; said specifications being No. 5 as adopted by Ordinance No. 69 of said City of Huntington Beach, and which said plans, profiles, cross-sections and specifi- cations are hereby referred to for amore -particular descrip- tion of said work. Section 2. T'--ie Street Superintendent shall post notice of this work as required by law. He shall also cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Huntington Beach News, a, weekly newspaper published and circulated in said City of Huntington Beach, and hereby designated by the Board of Trustees of said City of Huntington Beach as the newspaper in which said notice shall be published by said Street Superintendent. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall post the same conspic- uously for two (2) days on or near the council chamber door of said Board of Trustees, to-wit: on or near the door of t--,-e City Fall of the City of Huntington Beach. He shall also cause the same to be published by two (2) insertions in the Huntington Beach News, a weekly newspaper published and cir- culated in said City of Huntington Beach and hereby design,?ted by the Board of Trustees of said City for that purpose.
