and hereby is tendered to said Huntington Beach Co. for
gift of said Park.

Resolution No. 226
Po Oe Wells, asked permission to cut the sidewalk
down in front of his bicycle shop on Main Street , and on
motion by Seely, seconded by Helme, Resolution #226 granting
P. Oo Wells permission for same, was passed by the following
vote:
AYES : Helme, Seely, Manning
NOES : None
ABSENT: Stewart, French

RESOLUTION No. 227
Moved by Helme, seconded by Seely that Resolution
No. 227 , Thanking the Volunteer Fire Department for their
efficient work at the fire on Ocean Avenue (which is hereto
attached and is hereby made a part of these minutes as if
herein fully set forth) , be adopted .
AYES : Helme, Seely, banning
NOES: None
ABSENT: French, Stewart
RESOLUTION NO. 2 27.
WHEREAS, at the recent fire on Ocean Avenue, in
our city, the Huntington Beach Volunteer Fire Department
nerformed excellent service and deserves a word of recogni-
tion from the City,
Now therefore, Be it resolved by the Board of
Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, that a vote of
Ithinks, be and is hereby extended to the such fire depart-
ment and each individual member thereof,
And be it FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution
be spread in the minutes of this Board and a copy transmitted
to the said Fire Department.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and thereupon and thereafter it shall ' take effect
and be in force.
