HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 243 RESOLUTION NO. 243 WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held on April 8th, 1912, in this City, pursuant to ordinances of this City and the laws of the State of California, for the purpose of electing three Trustees , a City Clerk, and a City Treasurer; and WHEREAS, upon canvassing the returns of the election board of said election it is found that the following vote was cast: Total number of votes cast for all candidates, 387 . Total number of votes cast for each candidate : For member of the Board of Trustees, 4 year term: L'.E. Helme, two hundred sixty-seven (267) votes. M. D. Rosenberger, Two hundred twenty-two (222) votes . E. E. French, Two hundred Five (205) votes . J. L. Gail, One Hundred eighty (180) votes . H. T. Sundbye , One Hundred seventy-two (172) votes. For City Clerk, City of Huntington Beach: C. E. Lavering, Two hundred seventeen (217) votes. Susie Whitmore, One hundred forty-nine (149) votes. For City Treasurer, City of Huntington Beach: R. E. Graves, Two hundred ninty (290) votes. H. B. Little, One (1) vote. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the hereinafter named three electors , having received the highest number of vptes ffg are elected, and are hereby declared to be elected, to the of� ce said office/of City Trustee of the City of Huntington Beach, California, for a term of four years : IT. French, That the hereinafter named elector, having received the highest number of votes for said office, is elected, and is hereby declared to be elected to the office of City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, California. C. E. Lavering. That the hereinafter named elector, having received the highest number of votes for said office, is elected, and is hereby declared to be elected to the office of City Treasurer of the City of Huntington Beach, California: R.
