22 of the City of Huntington Beach, at Huntington Beach, Orange

25 ivIrf Bonds" in the sum of �$70 ,000 of the said city of
26 #untington Beach.
27 Said "lurticipal Wharf Bonds" are forty year serials ,
28 and izre two hundred and eighty (2W) in number, each in the
29 denomination of 4250, d"ted June 1 , 1512, bearing interest
30 at the rate of 5V a per a.nnum, pt-.yable semi-ru nually on the
31 first day of June and December of every year; principal and
32 interest payable in lawful honey of the United :Mates at the
1 office of the City Treasurer of said City of Mntington
2 Beach; seven of said bonds are due and payable on the first

3 day of June, 1913, and seven of said bonds on the same date
4 of each and every year thereafter until all are paid.
5 All of said bonds are issued under the authority of
6 the Act of the Legislature of the State of California., en-
7- titled "An ,Act authorizing the incurring of indebtedness
8 by cities , to-Nns and municipal corporations for municipal
9 improvements , and regulating the acq+ition,aonstruction or
10 completion thereof" , which became a law on February 25, 1901
11 (otets . 1901 , page 27) , and in accordance with the provisions
12 of law and the ordinances of said City
13 Said bonds will be ready for delivery on or about
14 the l day oflyf 1.912, and will
QaU 15 be delivered at the City Clerk's office in the City of

z� Huntington BeF1ch, California, or at any designated place ,

Qa upon the payment by the purchaser of all expense incurred by
18 the delivery of the bonds and transfer of the money necessary
19 to make the delivery and payment equivalent to a transaction
20 at the office of the City Clerk in the said City of Runtingpon
21 Beach,, All bids or proposals providing for delivery at
22 any place other than the City of liuntiniton Beach, California.,
23 will be construed by the Bogard of Trustees to mean the price
24 bid` in addition to the expense of delivery, whether the bid
25 or proposal sets forth the same explicitly or not . 'With each
26 proposal or bid must be submitted a certified check drawn
27 upon some bank in the State of California , payable to the
28 order of the City Treasurer of the City of Huntington Beach,

29 for the scam of ten per cent of each bid,_ as a guarantee that
3o the bidder will purchase and pay for the said bonds in
31 accordance with his proposal in the event the bid is
32 accepted . The Board of Trustees of said city reserves the
right to reject any and all bids or proposals.
