WHEREAS, the assessor of the City of Huntington
Beach reports that on the first Monday in March, 1913, the
total assessed valuation of the assessable property in the
City of Huntington Beach amounts to 877,100, and
WHEREAS, rates hereinafter designated and set opposite
the following named funds will raise the amount of money
hereinafter also designated, to wit :

1. General Fund .49 4297.79
2. Street Fund .23 2017.33
3. Salary Fund .23 2017.33
4. Music & Promotion Fund .05 438.55
5. Special Music & Promotion
Fund .15 1315.65
6. Library Fund .15 1315 .65
7 . Wharf .Bond Fund .628 5508.18
AND, WHEREAS, the amounts of money above designated
i,,ill be necessary to maintain the city government of the City
of Huntington Beach during the fiscal year ending July 1, 1214.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees
of Huntington Beach, there being prexent Trustees French,
Howard, Rosenberger, Helme, in regular meeting on this 2nd
day of September, 1.913, being the first regular meeting in
September, that the tax rate of this city be, and is hereby
fixed for the fiscal year ending July 1st, 1914, at 81.928
on every; 100.00 of the assessed valuation of the property
within said City, being a rate of 15% fixed for library purposes
and a rate of 62.8% per cent for Wharf Bond Fund and a rate of
15% for Park Music and advertising Fund, and a rate of 100%
for all other purposes.
