RJESOLUTIOTv ORDE MIG VTORK NTo. 256- The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, California, hereby resolves ::,s follows: That whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of Hunt- ington Beach, California, did on the 16th day of December, 19- 14, pass a Resolution of Intention, 11To. 255, to order the here- inafter described work to be done and improvement to be made in said City, which Resolution of Intention was duly and legally published, as required by law, and as appears by the affidavit of J. J. Conrad now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and `rhereas, notices of the passage and adoption of said Resolution of Intention, TTo. 255, headed, 111-Totice of Im- proveaient" ITere duly and legally posted along the line of said contemnla.ted Work and improvement and in front of all the ? roner- ty liable to be assessed therefor in the form and i_iianner, as re- quired by law, immediately after toe adoption of said Resolution of Intention, as appears by the affidavit of J. Tinsley, Street Superintendent of said City of Huntington Beach, who upon the com- pletion of the posting of said notices forthwith filed said af- fidavit in the office of the City Clerk of said City, making oath that he completed the posting of said notices of improvement on the 24th day of December, 1914; and whereas, more than fifteen days have expired since the date of the second publication of said Resolution of Intention and the date of the co -oletion of the ?posting of said notices of improvement; and whereas, no pro- tests have been delivered to the Clerk of the City Counsel against the doing of said ,FTork and the making, of said improvement, nog=r, • therefore , be it RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the work in said Resolution of Intention, and hereinafter des- cribed, to be done, and that the Board of Trustees of said City do hereby order the said work to be done and improvement rude , as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention, No. 255, and described as follows, to-,writ: The aforesaid Resolution of Intention, 11o. 255, affidavit of nublication, affidavit of nostin notices of improvement , plans end specifications on file in the offices of the City Clerk of said City and of the City Engineer of said City are hereby refer- red to for further particulars, end it is ordered that said -work. and. im-orovement shall be done in accordance Y.!ith said plans and snecifica.tions, and in pursuance of the provisions of an act of the Legislature of the State of California, designated as "The Improvement Act of 1911 , 11 an_oroved April 7th, 1911. The City Clerk is hereby directed to -post a. notice of said yrork, too;et_yer with -plans and specifications therefor conspicuously for five days on or near the Counsel Chamber door, to-.'.iit: The front door of the "ity Hall of the City of Huritino,ton Beach, Cali- fornia, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the said �;.Tork ordered, and to publish a notice inviting such proposals and refer- ring to the plans and specifications posted, or on file, in the Huntington reach TTeirs, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said City of Huntington 9each, an,J hereby des-mated for that purpose.
