A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, California, Declaring its Intention to order certain portions of certain Streets and Alleys in said City closed up, and Providing that the same be done under the -orovis i ons of an ,act of the Legislature of California , aporoved I.:arch 6th, 1889 , and Acts Amendatory thereof. The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach do hereby resolve as follov.�s: Section 1. Th,a.t the -Dublic interest and convenience re- quire, and that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of said City to order, the following described ortions of certain Streets and alleys in said City to be closed up and abandoned as public Streets and alleys, to-v;it: Edgeware Boulevard, from the Southeasterly line of 'Sixteenth Street , produced Yortheasterly from Palm Avenue, to the NorthTest- erly line of Fourteenth Street , produced northeasterly from Palm Avenue; Sixteenth Street , frori the South?=,iesterly line of Edgeware Boulevard to t1he South..esterly line of Crest Avenue; The first alley Southeasterly of Sixteenth Street, from the Northeasterly line of Palm Avenue to tr_e Southeesterly line of the first alley Southwesterly from Edgeware Boulevard; The first alley Southi-esterly of Edgeware Boulevard, from the Southeasterly line of Sixteenth Street to the Northwesterly line of Fourteenth Street; Fifteenth Street , from the Northeasterly line of Palm Avenue to the Southwesterly line of Edgerra.re Boulevard; the first alley T�?orthea,.suerly of Edgex'are Boulevard, from the Southeasterly line of Sixteenth Street to the Southwest-erly line of Crest Avenue. Section 2. That s,-id �Doard of Trustees hereby determines and declares that the 'nrolposed work is for closing up said por- tions of said streets and alleys, and that all of the owners of adjacent property and of property liable to 'be affacted by the closing up of said portions of said Streets e,nd alleys have re- quested that the said ;portions of said Streets and alleys be closed up; and that no damage or injury to adjacent property will be done thereby and no costs incurred by the closing up of said portions of said Streets and alleys, end that no assessment is, or will bene- cessary for the closing up of said nortions of said Streets and al- leys. Section 3. That all of the herein -pro-posed work shall be done in pursuance of an Act of the Legislature of California, entitled "An Act to 'provide for the laying out, opening, extending, widening, straightening, or closinC up in whole, or in part, any Street , square, lane, alley, court or -place iriithin municipalities , and to condemn and acquire any and all land and property necessary or convenient for that purpose, approved ITIarch 6th 1389, and the several acts amendatory thereof, or supplemental thereto. Section 4. The Hunting,I'ton Beach 'Te-,7s, is hereby designated as t'*Ie weekly nevspaner published and circulated in s,,=,id City, in vThIch ti-le Street Superintendent of said City shall cause to be published notice of the -passage of this Resolution.
