NO. 330
WHEREAS at a Special Municipal Electim held in the
City of Huntington Beach, Orange County, California, on Tuesday
the 16th day of September, 1919, pursuant to the provisions of
Ordinance No. 201 of said City, the whole number of voters vot-
ing at said election was _19a, and the whole number of legal
votes cast was lgg , and that thereof . 181 legal votes were
cast in favor of and for the adoption of the following propo-
sition, to-wit:

incur a bonded debt of W,000.00 for the object.
and purpose of the acquisition, construction and
completion of a revenue producing municipal im-
provement, to-wit: a gas distributing system,
more particularly described as a system of gas
pipe lines, mains, laterals , meters and attach-
ments for the distribution and supply of gas in
said City, including all other apparatus and
appliances necessary or proper for receiving gas
and transmitting and distributing said gas to
said City and the inhabitants thereof, including
the acquisition of lands and rights-of-way.
AND WHEREAS, due notice of said Special Municipal
Election was given, and said special election was held at the
time and in the manner in all respects as required by said Or-
dinance No. 201 of said City, and that in all particulars not
recited in said Ordinance, said special Municipal Election was
held as provided by law for holding municipal elections in
cities of the sixth class:
AND WHEREAS said election was legally and fairly con-
aducted and the returns thereof were duly and regularly made and

certified to by this Board; that said returns have been duly and
legally canvassed by this Board;
AND WHEREAS said proposition submitted to the qualified
voters of said City of Huntington Beach at said Special Municipal
Election was carried by the votes of more than two-thirds of all
the voters voting at said Special Municipal Election, to-exit:
there were 181 legal votes cast in favor of said proposition out
of a total number of 190 -voters voting at said Election.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of Trustees
of the City of Huntington Beach, that the said proposition was,
and this Board hereby finds and declares that said proposition
was carried and adopted by the votes of more than two-thirds
of all the voters voting at said Special Hunicipal. Election,
and that the said proposition be and the same is hereby declared
to be carried.

the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, Calif-
ornia, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach,
State of California, and signed by the President of said Board
at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 17th daycf September,
1919 , and that the same was passed and adopted by the following
vote:
