HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 366 RESOLUTION NO. 366 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUI�TINGTON BEACH, , CALIF- ORN'IA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1921-22. WHEREAS the assessed valuation of the taxable pro- perty of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1921-22 is 4,512,160.00, and WHEREAS the Board of Trustees of said City of Hunting- ton Beach find that the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation on property in said City as _a revenue for the various departments of said City for the current year and to pay the bonded and other indebtedness of said City is as fol- lows, to-wit : 1 General Fund 22,560.80 2 Salary Fund . . . . . . . $ 11, 280.40 3 Street Fund . 11,280.40 4 Music & Promotion Fund 6, 768.24 5 Library Fund , $ 7,670.67 6 Wharf Bond, Int. & Red. 4, 873.13 7 Sewer Bond, Int. & Red. $ 2,662.17 8 Old Gas Bonds, Int. & Red. 1,895.10 9 Gas Sys. Bonds, t19, Int. & Redemption 3,203.63 and WHEREAS a Tax Rate of One hundred --sixty cents upon each One hundred Dollars of the assessed value of the property in the said City as assessed by the City Assessor and equalized by the Board of Trustees, sitting as a Board of Equalization, is sufficient to raise the amount of money so found to be necessary, THEREFORE, be it, and it is hereby resolved by the Board of Trustees of said City of Huntington Beach that the rate of taxation for the said City of Huntington Beach for the current year 1921-22 be fixed at One hundred sixty cents upon each One hundred Dollars of said assessed valua- tion of property in said City, the said rate to be segregated as follows, to-wit: 1 General Fund 50 cents 2 salary Fund . . 25 cents 3 Street Fund 25 cents 4 Music & Promotion Fund . 15 cents 5 Library Fund . 17 cents 6 Wharf Band, Int. & Red. 10 cents 7 Sewer Bond, Int. & Red. 05.9 cents 8 Old Gas Bonds, Int. & Red. 04. 2 cents 9 Gas Sys. Bonds 119, Int. & Redemption 07.1 cents Total . . . 160 cents PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 1921.
