HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 385 RESOLUTION NO. 385 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEJA,CH, CALIF- ORNIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1922-23. WHEREAS, the assessed valuation- of the taxable pro- perty of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1922-23 is 5, 456, 217.00, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of said City of Hunt- ington Beach find that the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation on property in said City as a revenue for the various departments of said. City for the current year and to nay the bonded and other indebtedness of said City is as follows, to-grit: 1 General Fund . 27, 281.08 2 Salary Fund . . 13, 640.54 3 Street Fund . . . . . . . 13, 640.54 4 music and Promotion . . . 8,184.33 5 Library Fund . $ 7,093.08 6 Wharf Bonds, Int. & Red. . __A__5,044.27 7 Sewer Bonds, Int. & Red. . _ 2, 524.43 8 City Hall Bonds, Int. &Red. , 5, 592.62 9 Public Hall Bonds, Int. & Red. 2,728.11 10 Fire Apparatus, Bond & Red. . . $ 1,500.46 WEREAS, a tax Tate of one hundred sixty cents upon each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of the property in the said City as assessed by the City Assessor and eaual- ized by the 'Board of Trustees, sitting as a Board of Equaliza- tion, is sufficient to raise the amount of money so to be necesspry.
