RESOLUTION
NO. 398
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUE-
TEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE TAX
RATE FOR THE SAID CITY FOR THE
FISC.A.L YEAR 1923-24.
WHEREAS, the assessed valuation of the taxable
property of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as
assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of
Equalization of, said City for the fiscal year 1923-24 is
9 ,077,415.00. and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of said City of
Huntington Beach find that the amount of money necessary
to be raised by taxation on property in said City as a
revenue for the various departments of said City for the
current year and to pay the bonded and other indebtedness
of said City is as follows, to-wit:
1. General Fund $36p3O9.60
2. Salary Fund 22,693.54
3. Street Fund 22,693.54
4. Music & Promotion Fund 13,616.12
5. Library Fund 9,077.42
6. Wharf Bonds, Interest &
Redemption 2,496.30
7. Sewer Bonds, " 907.74
8. City Hall Bonds, " 41992.58

9. Public Fall Bonds, Interest &
Redemption 214.96.30
10. Fire Apparatus Bonds, " 1,588.55
11, Municipal Bonds, 28,366.95

TOTAL 9145,238.64
7HEREAS, a Tax Rate of One hundred Sixty cents
upon each One hundred dollars of the assessed value of the
property in the said City as assessed by the City Assessor
and equalized by the Board of Trustees, sitting as a Board
of Equalization, is sufficient to raise the amount of money
so to be necessary.
THEREFORE, be it and it is hereby resolved by
the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach
that the rate of Taxation for the said City of Huntington
Beach for the current year 1�23-24 be fixed at One hundred
Sixty cents upon each One hundred dollars of said assessed
va
luation of property in said City, the said rate to be
segregated as follows, to-wit:
1. General Fund .40 cents
2. Salary Fund .25
3. Street Fund .25 "
4. Music & Promotion Fund .15
5. Library Fund .10 "
