BEACH, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE GRADING AND PAVING OF THE RIGHT OF 71AY OF THE CONTINUATION OF OCEAN AVENUE CALLED AND KNOWN AS COAST BOULEVARD EXTENDING FROM THE CENTER LINE OF FIRST STREET IN SAID CITY TO THE CENTER LINE OF HAMPSHIRE AVENUE, THE EAST CITY LIMITS OF SAID CITY: ORDERING SAID WORK TO BE DONE AND ORDERING THE CITY CLERK OF SAID OF SAID CITY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS THERE- ON. The Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach, California, do resolve as follows, to-wit: Sedtion 1. That the plans and specifications for the following work to be done, and improvement to be made in the City of Huntington Beach, California, to-wit; the right of way of the continuation of Ocean Avenue, called and known as Coast Boulevard in said City from the center dine of First Street to the center line of Hampshire Avenue$ the East City limits of said City to be improved by grading said street to the official grade for its full width from property line to property line and by paving a portion of said roadway twenty (20) feet in width with a four (4) Inch asphaltic concrete base and a two (2) inch Nillite Plastic Composition wearing surface; shall be plan, profile and cross-section numbered New Series Fourteen (14) and. • • in accordance with specification numbered thirty six (36) prepared by the City Engineer and inn file in his office, and all work shall during its progress and on its completion conferm to lines and levels which may from time to time be given by the said City Engineer. The said plans, pro- files, cross-sections and specifications are hereby adopted as the ones for the said work and are hereto attached and made a part of this Resolution. Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause advertisements to be published according to law in the Huntington Beach -News, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the City of Huntington Beach, County of orange, inviting sealed bids or proposals to be made for the work and materials necessary to carry out this Resolution. Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall cause the same tb be filed in the office of the City Clerk and a certified copy thereof to be filed in the office of the City Engineer of said City, which copy shall be open to the inspection of any and all persons desiring to examine the same.
