A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, DETER-
MINING Ar'D DECLARING THAT THE PT BLIC
!NTERE ST AND NECESSITY DEMANDS THE AC-
QUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AITD COMPLETION
BY SAID CITY OF A CERTAIN MUNICIPAL

BE IT R-'SOI,VED by the Board of Trustees of the
said City of Huntin,ton Beach, California. as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is hereby determined by the
board of Trustees of said City of Huntington Beach, Cali-
fornfa. th,, .t the public interest and necessity demands the
acquisition, construction and completion in the City of
Huntington Beach, California of the following municipal
Improvements, to-wit : the acquisition, construction and
completion of a. municipal iuharf inclvding an ornamental
lightlng system upon spree , together W th such equipment
and apnurtenpnces as may be necessary or convenient to
the use thereof; said wh<�.rf to extend into the Pacific
Ocean from the outer end of .the TRunlcipal "!'ha.rf how ex-
tending into the Pacific Ocean from the intersection of
"ain Street in said. ",ity with the coast line of said
Ocean.
S7CTION 2. That it is hereby determined that
the said municipal improvement is necessary and convenient
to carry out the objects, purposes and rowers of said City
of Huntington Beach.

S CTION 3. That it is deter!,:_fined that the cost
of said improve ^ent is and will be too great to
be paid out of the ordinary annual income end revenue, of
the said City of HuntinCton Beach and that the estimated
cost of said improvement is one hundred thousand ($100,
000.00) dollars and that it is and will be necessary for
the City of Huntingtcn Beach, California, to incur a bon-
ded debt for the purpoFe of the a,coulsition, construction
rnd ccm-oletion of said municipal improvement.
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk shall attest this
resol.tion and shall certify to the p� ssave and adoption
thereof and the vote thereon; and shall cause the same
together irl-th his said certificate to be entered in the
Book of Resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute
of the pa.ssage and adoption thereof in the minutes of the
meeting, at which the same is passed and adopted.
PASSED A",?D ADOPTED by the Board of Trustees of
the City of Huntington Beach, California, by a. vote of
more than two-thirds of all its members at a regular mee-
ting of said. :Board held on the 4th day of Augnzst ,
1924.

adopted by vote of more than two-thirds of all the members
of the said Board of Trustees of said City of Huntington
Beach at a, regular meeting of said Board, held on the 4th
