SE IT RESOLITTM by the Board of Trustees of the City of N_untin&;ton Beach, "alifornia, as follows: Section 1. That it is hereby determined by the Board of Trustees of the said City of Huntington Beach, California., that the public interest and necessity de- mands the acquisition, construction and completion in the City of Huntington Beach, California., of the following municipal improvements and each of them, to-wit: (a) The acquisition, construction ,and completion of a funicipal Wharf together with such equipment and ap- -ourtena.nces as may be necessary or convenient to the use thereof; said Wharf to extend into the Pacific Ocean from the outer end of the Iviunicipal 7harf now extending into the Pacific Ocean from the termination of T:`atn Street in the City of Huntington Beach at the Coast line of said Ocean. (b) The ,Acquisition, construction and completion of super disposal plant consisting of an Incinerator, and such equipment and appurtenances as may be necessary or convenient to the use thereof; (e) Street work, consisting of the acquisition of equipment for doing street Mork incl•_7ding street clean- equipment ing/in the City of Huntington Beach; (d) The acquisition of property fora public park along the Coast line of the Pacific Ocean within the Cl.ty of Huntington Beach. (e ) The construction and completion, by impro- ving and equipping, of perks and play gr. ota.nds within the City of Huntington Beach. (f) The acquisition, constriction and completion of P. sewer system for the carrying and disposal of storm surface graters within the City of Huntington Beach. Section 2. That it is hereby determined that the said municipal improvements are, and each of them is necessary end convenient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of said City of Huntington Beach. Section 3. That it Is hereby determined that the cost of said municipal improvement described as the acquisition, construction and completion of l,,Iunicipa.l Wharf together with such equipment and appurtenances as may be necessary or convenient to the use thereof; said Wharf to extend into the Pacific Ocean from the outer end of the "."unicipal 'Wharf now extending into the Pacific Ocean from the termination of ?:',ain Street in the City of Huntington Beach at the Coast line of said Ocean, is and 7vill be too great to be nRid out of the Ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of Huntington Beach, and i that the estimated cost of said improvement is one hundred thousand ( 100,000,00) dollars and that it is and will be necessary for the City of Huntington Beach to incur a bonded debt in the amount of one hundred thousand ( 1002 000.00) dollars for the purpose of the acquisition, cons- truction and completion of said improvement. Section 4. That it is hereby determined that the cost of said municipal improvement described as the ac- quisition, construction and completion of server disposal plant consisting of an incinerator, and such equipment and appurtenances as may be necessary or convenient to the use thereof; is and urill be too great to be paid oiit of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of Hun- tington Beach, and that the estimated cost of said im- provement is twenty-five thousand ($25,000.00) dollars and that it is and will be necesary for the City of Hun- tington Beach to incur F. bonded debt in the amount , of twenty-five thousand (425,000.00) dollars for the purpose of the acquisition, construction and completion of said municipal improvement. Section 5. That it is hereby determined that the cost of said municipal i or. ovement described as street work consisting of the acquisition of equipment for doing street work including street cleaning equipment in the city of Huntington Beach, is and will be too great to be paid out of the oridina.ry annual income and .revenue of said City of Huntington Beach, and that the estimated cost of said -3- improvement is twelve thousand, (y$n,12, 000.00) dollars and that it is rnd will be necessary for the City of Hunting- ton Beach to incur a. bonded debt in the amount of twelve thousand ( 12,000.00) for the purpose of the acquisition, of said municipal improvement. Section 6. That it is hereby determined that the cost of said municipal improvement described as the ac- quisition of property along the coast line of the Pacific Ocean within the City of Huntington Beech for a public park is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of Huntington Beach, and that the estimated cost of said improvement is seventy- five thousand Q75,O00.00) dollars and that it is and will be necessary for the City of Huntington Beach to incur a bonded debt in the amount of seventy-five thousand (875, 000.00) dollars for the purpose of the acquisition of said municipal improvement. 1 Section 7. That it is hereby determined that the cost of said municipal improvement described as the construc- tion and completion by improving and equipping of parks and play grounds within the City of Huntington Beach is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of Huntington Beach, and that the estimated cost of said improvement is twenty thou- sand (820,000.00) dollars and thpt it is and will be ne- cessary for the City of Huntington Beach to incur a 'bonded debt in the amount cf twenty thousand (120,000.00) dollars -4- i for the purpose of the construction and completion of said municipal improvement. Section 8. That it is hereby determined that the cost of said municipal improvement described as the ac- auisition, construction and completion of a sewer system for the carrying and disposal of storm surface eaters with- in the City of Huntington Beach, is and will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and revenue of said City of Huntin�':ton Beach, and thet the estimated cost of said improvement is t�7enty thousand ($20,000.00) dollars and that it is and will be necessary for. the City of Huntington Beach to incur a bonded debt in the amount of ten thousand. ( 10,000.00) dollars for the purpose of the acquisition, construction and completion of said mu- nicipal improvement. Section 9. That the City Clerk shall attest this Resolution and shall certify to the passage and adoption thereof and the vote thereon; and shall cause the same , together 151th his said certificate to be entered in the Book of Resolutions of said City, and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the minutes of the meeting at. which the same is passed and adopted.
