HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 609 P RESOLUTION Not 609 RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH CREATING CERTAIN OFFICES OF SAID CITY AND DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF DEPUTIES FOR CITY OFFICERS AND FIXING THEIR COMPENSATION. Be it resolved by the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach as follows: 1. That the Street Superintendent of the City of Huntington Beach shall have one deputy to be known as Assistant Street Superintendent, who shall receive in full compensation for his services the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per month. 2. That the City Treasurer of the City of Hunt- ington .Beach shall have one deputy to be known as Assistant Treasurer, who shall receive in full compensation for her services the sum of One Hundred Sixty Dollars ($160.00) . 3. That the City Marshal shall have one deputy to be known as Deputy Tax and License Collector who shall receive a salary of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per month in full compensation for her services. This deputy shall be in addition to any and all police officers, matrons, investigators or other employees, who shall or ,may be employed as or engaged in the work of the police department of the City of Huntington Beach and this reso- lution shall not be deemed to limit the number of police officers, matrons, investigators or employees so engaged. Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the City of Huntington Beach at their regular adjourned meeting held on the 7th day of May, 1928.
