HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 613 RESOLUTION NO. 613 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF H -INTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1928-1929 WHEREAS, The assessed valuation of the taxable property of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1928-1929 is 18,076,62.1.00 and '°' ,REAS, the City Council of said City of Hun- tington Beach find that the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation on property in said City as a revenue for the various departments of said city for the current fiscal year and to pay the bonded and other indebtedness of said City is as follows, to-wit: 10 General Fund. . . . . . . . . ... . . . . .$180,634.53 2. THEREFORE, be it, and it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the rate of taxation for the said City of Huntington Beach 'for the current .fiscal year 1928, 1929 be fixed at ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY CE 1TS upon each One Hundred dollars of said as- sessment valuation of property in said city, the said rate to be segregated as follows, to-wit: 1.
