RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE SAID CITY
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1929-1.930.
VVHHEREAS, the assessed valuation of the taxable
property of the City of Huntington Beach, CF.lifornia, as
assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of
Eaualization of said City for the fiscal year 1929-1930 is
14,013,225.00, and
= kEREAS, the City Council of said City of Hun-
tington Beach find that the amount of money necessary to be
raised by taxation on property of said City as a. revenue for
the various departments of said City for the current fis-
cal year and to pay the bonded a.nd other indebtedness of said
City as follows, to-grit:

WHEREAS, a tax rate of One Hundred and Fifty cents
upon each One Hundred Dollars of assessed value of the pro-
perty in the said City as assessed by the City Assessor and
equalized by the City Council sitting as a Board of Equal-
ization, is sufficient to raise the amount of money so to
be necessary.
THEREFORE, be it, and it is hereby resolved by
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the
rate of taxation for the said City of Huntington Beach for
the current fiscal year 1929-1930 be fixed at One Hundred
and Fifty Cents upon each One hundred Dollars of said as-
sessment valuation of property in said City, the said rate
to be segregated as follows, to-wit:
