HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 644 RESOLUTION NO. 644 WHEREAS it is required for the best interests of the City of Huntington Beach that tt own its own tide and submerged lands: And that the City be permitted to produce its own natural resources, and protect its public property from exploitation by private interests. NOW THEREFORE, be it Resolved that the City Coun- cil of the City of Huntington Beach does hereby respectfully petition the Honorable Governor of the State of California to act favorably upon Assembly Bill No. 4, now before the Governor for his signature after passage by both houses of our State Legislature. Assembly Bill No. 4 is a tide land grant from the State of California to the City of Huntington Beach of the tide and submerged lands within its limits. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach at a special meeting held on the 25th day of May, 1931.
