HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 687 RESOLUTION No. 687 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF HUNTIHGTON BEACH. The City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California do resolve as follows : WHEREAS, The Division of Highways of the State of California have allotted to the City of Huntington Beach the sum of Seven Hundred Thirty-seen Dollars and Two Cents ($737.02) for the purpose of clearing and restoring public streets and highways, barricading dangerous buildings or walls adjacent to public streets, which buildings and walls were damaged by the earthquake of March 10, 1933, as provided by an emergency Act passed by the Legislature and approved March 15, 1933, and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Huntington Beach to enter into a contract known as "Earthquake Relief Agreement No. 20" , NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Huntington Beach is hereby authorized to sign that certain Agreement on behalf of the said City, and that his signature be attested to by the City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California a regular, adjourned meeting thereof held on the 4th day of May, 1933. EG CONRAD ayor ATTEST: CR FURR City Clerk.
