A RESOLUTUON OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON
BEACH
The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach do resolve as follows:
Section 1. That there is a vacance existing in
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach; which
vacancy has existed for more -than thirty (30) days prior
herto, and that said City Council has failed to fill said
vacancy within thirty days after its occurrence.
That a special election for the purpose of filling
such vacancy shall be held on the 6th day of November, 1933,
and that the person elected to fill said vacancy shall hold
office until the next regular municipal election.
Section 2. That said special election shall be
held and conducted pursuant to the following provisions there-
for, which provisions are hereby determined and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach for holding
said special election:
That at said election there shall be four (4)
voting precincts consisting of a consolidation of the regular
election precincts last established for holding general State
and County elections, as follows :
Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" , comprising State
and County election precincts Nos. Huntington Beach One (1)
and Huntington Beach Two (2) , and the polling place thereof
shall be in the Memorial Hall located on Sixth Street near
the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Sixth Street in the
City of Huntington Beach:
Consolidated Voting Precinct "B" , comprising State and
County election Precincts Nos. Huntington Beach Three (3)
and Huntington Beach (4) , and the polling place thereof shall
be at the .',omen' s Club House located at 418 Tenth Street be-
tween Orange Avenue and Magnolia Avenue in said City;
Consolidated Voting Precinct "C" , comprising State and
County election precincts Nos. Huntington Beach Five (5) and
Huntington Beach Six (6) , and the polling place thereof shall
be at the Windsor Club House located on the corner of Thirteenth
Street and Crest Avenue in said City:
Consolidated Voting Precinct "D" , comprising State and
County election precinc,"Cs Nos. Huntington' Beach Seven (7) and
Huntington Beach Eight (8) , and the polling place thereof
shall be at Maggie Hallicyl s Store located on the south-east
corner of Fr,-7i.nkfort Street and Alabama Avenue in said City.
Section 3. That the polls shall be open between the hours
of six o' clock A. M. and seven o' clock P. M.
Section 4. That the election boards for the consolidated
voting precincts shall be as follows:
