HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 729 c o p y RE `80 `LUTI '0N No 729 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA FIXING€ THE TAX RATE FOR THE SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1935 - 1936 WHEREAS the assessed valuation of the taxable property of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1935-1936 is 13, 342,036.00 and, WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Huntington Beach finds that the amount of money necessary to be raised by 'taxation on property of said City ;as a revenue for various departments of said City for the current fiscal year and to, pay bonded and other i indebtedness of said city are as follows, to-wit: I. City Council of the City of Huntington Beach that the rate of taxation for the �1� said City of Huntington Beach for the current fiscal year 1935-1936 be fixed at one hundred and fifty (150) cents upon each ohe hundred dollars of said assessment valuation ofproperty in said city, the said rate to be segragated as follows: 1. General Fund 96 cents 2. Music and. Promotion 15 cents 3. Library 5-3/4 cents 4. Wharf` Bonds I & R 21 cents 5. Seger Bonds I & R 1* cents 6. City Hall Bonds I & R 21 cents 7.
