WHER AS# the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach# County of Orange, State of California, did, by resolution duly and regularly adopted at a regular meting of said council Yield on the 14th day of Fetbruary, 1938* call and provide for the holding of the general municipal' election vd thin said City of Huntington Beach on the 12th day of April, 1938E and "REA$, the City Council of said City of Hunting- ton beach did, at a regular aAlourned meeting of said council held on the 9th day of March, 1938, adopt Ordinance No. 4080 ordering calling and providing for the holding of an election can April 12, 19380 for the purpose of voting upon the authorization of bonds for the purposes bereinaftter stated$ and did by said O rd.inanoe No. 408 provide for the consolidation of said band election with said geroral municipal election; and WHEREAS, Niue notice of the holding of said general election and of said consolidated bond election has berstofore been given at the time and in the manner required. by' law., NOW,, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of F ti Huntington Beach, Oalifornia, do hereby resolve-, determine and declare as follows Section 1. (1) The whole number of votes cast in the City of Huntington` Beacth, Including all absentee votes I 1287. s .►% (2) The names of the persons voted for are T. Be` TALBERT# M. M. McCALLEN and Do T. BE NECESSARY OR CONVENIENT TO THE USE-T EREOT111 received the affirm- y ative votes of more than two-thirds of the voters of said city voting at said election, and that the same was duly carried and that the issuance of said $100,000.00 of bonds has been duly authorized. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to enter on the records of the City Counall a statement of the result of said election as required by law. The said City Clerk is hereby further authorized and directed to make out immedi- ately end deliver to each person elected a certificate of election signed by him and duly authenticated. Section 5. ' That the City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution by a majority of the votes of the members of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, by a vote of more than at majority of all its -members, at a regulars meeting of said City Council held on the day of 1936.
