RESOLUTION NO. 861
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL CF
THE CITY OF HUNTINGT ON BEACH, CALIF-
ORNIA, CANCELLING TAXES ON CERTAIN
PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach, California, do resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Huntington Beach did, at its regularly adjourned
meeting held April 18, 1938, pass and adopt Resol-
ution No. 794, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
CONSENTING TO THE SALE OF CERTAIN TAX DEED UNDIVIDED
INTERESTS OF REAL PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY" , which
undivided interests are located in Block 1403 and
Block 1404 of T. J. 'Watson's Re-Subdivision in the
City of Huntington Beach, as per map thereof re-
corded in Book 4, Page 66, Miscellaneous daps,
records of Orenge County, California, and
WHEREAS, said property was subsequently sold
to TED MILLER and ETHEL M. MILLER, husband and wife,
as joint tenants, and a Deed was executed by J. C. Lamb,
Reso, 861
as Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of
California., dated March 10, 1939 and recorded as
Document No. 7537 on March 20, 1939 in Book 983,
page 476 of Official Records of Orange County,
California, and by this reference made a part hereof,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California,
that all delinquent taxes against said property set
forth in said Deed as it appears of record in said
Book 983, page 476 of Official Records of Orange County,
California, which were assessed and were a lien against
said property on and prior to said loth day of March,
1939, together with all costs, penalties and interest
accrued thereon, be and the same are hereby cancelled,
except as to special assessments upon any of said par-
cels set forth in said Deed,
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of
the City of Huntington Beach, California, at a.

and acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach,
California, and ex-officio Clerk of the City Council
of said City, do hereby certify that the whole number
of members of the City Council of the City of Huntington
Beach is five; that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the affirmative vote of a majority of
adjourned
the members of said City Council at a regular/meeting
of the City Council held on the 8th day of
January, 1940, by the following vote:
