A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF- ORNIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR SAID CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1940-1941. WHEREAS, the assessed valuation of the taxable property of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1940-1941, is $111030,895.001 and WHEREAS, the City ,Council of said City of Huntington Beach finds that the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation on property of said City of Huntington Beach, as a revenue for various departments of said City, for the current fiscal year and to pay bonded and other indebtedness of the City of Huntington Beach, is as follows, to-wit; Reso. 872 1. General Fund $1022315.32 2. Music and Promotion 16,546.00 3. Library 10,203.00 4. Wharf Bonds, Interest & Redemption 33033.00 5. Sewer Bonds, Interest & Redemption 1,654.00 6. City Hall Bonds, Interest & Redemption 3,584.00 7. Municipal Bonds 1923, Interest & Redemption 16,822.00 8. Wharf Reconstruction Bonds, Interest & Redemption 4,964.00 9. Wharf Extension Bonds, Interest & Redemption 5,239.00 10. Municipal Park & Playground Bonds, 1938, Interest & Redemption 12,134.00 176,494.3E WHEREAS, a tax rate of one hundred and sixty cents ( 1.60) upon each one hundred dollars ( 100.00) assessed value of the property in said City as assessed by the Assessor and equalized by the City Council, sitting as a Board of Equalization, is sufficient to raise the amount of money so to be necessary, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, that the rate of taxation for the said City of Huntington Beach for the current fiscal year 1940-1941 be fixed at one hundred and sixty cents ( 1.60) upon each one hundred dollars ( 100.00) -2- Reso. 872 of said assessment valuation of property in said City, the said rate to be segregated as follows: 1. -General Fund 92-31/4¢ 15� 2, Music Promotion s c 3.
