A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR SAID CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1941-1942. WHEREAS, the assessed,valuation of the taxable property of the City of Huntington Beach, Calif- ornia, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1941-1942, is 10,055,470.00, and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Huntington Beach finds that the amount of money nec- essary to be raised by taxation on property of said City of Huntington Beach, as a revenue for various departments of said City, for the current fiscal year and to pay bond- ed and other indebtedness of the City of Huntington Beach, is as follows, to- wit; 1. General Fund $8g,990.00 2. Music and Promotion 15,084,00 3. Library 9,553.00 4. Wharf Bonds , Interest & Redemption 2,762,00 5, Sewer Bonds, Interest & Redemption 1,509,00 6, City Hall Bonds, Interest & Redemption 3,519.00 Reso. 887 7, Municipal Bonds 1923, Interest & Redemption $16,844.00 8. Wharf Reconstruction Bonds, Interest & Redemption 5,029.00 9, Wharf Extension Bonds, Interest & Redemption 5 ,029.00 10. Municipal Park & Playground Bonds , 1939, Interest & Redemption 12,569.00 1 , . WHEREAS, a tax rate of one hundred and sixty cents ( 1.60) upon each one hundred dollars ( 100.00) assessed value of the property in said City as assessed by the Assessor and equalized by the City Council, sitting as a Board of Equalization, is sufficient to raise the amount of money so to be necessary. NOW THEREFORE$ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, that the :rate of taxation for the said City of Huntington Beach for the current fiscal year 1941-1942 be fixed at one hundred and sixty cents ( 1.60) upon each one hundred dollars ( 100.00) of said assessment valuation of property in said City, the said rate to be aggregated as follows: 1.
