A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA,
SELLING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHOR-
IZING A DEED THEREFORE.
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach held on November 1, 1943,
certain lots were offerred for sale, and
WHEREAS, CHARLES MAYS and BONNIE MAYS, husband and
wife, as ,joint tenants with the right of survivorship, bid
the sum of One Hundred Fifty ($150.00) Dollars, for Lot
Twenty-two (22) in Block One Hundred Ten (110) of Huntington
Beach, as per map recorded in Book 3, page 36 of Miscellaneous
Daps, records of Orange County, California, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that it is for the
best interest of said City that said bid be accepted and
said property be sold and returned to the assessment role,
and
WHEREAS, said price offerred is ,just, fair and ad-
equate and is not disportionate to the market value of the
above described real. property.
NOW, THEREFOR , be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach, California, that the above
described property be and. the same is hereby sold to
CHARLES MAYS and BONNIE MAYS, husband and wife, as joint
tenants with the right of survivorship, free and clear of
all encumbrances, except subject to covenants, conditions,
reservations, restrictions and rights of way of record, if any

for the total sum of One Hundred Fifty .($150.00) Dollars
and be it further resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver
a Deed to said CHALRES MAYS and BONNIE MAYS, husband and
wife, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship,
upon receipt of the consideration therefore:
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE City Council of the City
of Huntington Beach, California, at a regularly adjourned
meeting thereof- held on the 15day of November, 1943.

I, C. R. FURR, the duly elected, qualified and
acting City Clerk of the City of Huntington Beach, and ex-
officio Clerk of the City Council of said City, do hereby
certify that the whole. number of members of the City Council
of the City of Huntington Beach is five; that the foregoing
Resolution was passed and adopted by the affirmative vote of
more than a majority of all the members of said City Council
at a. regularly adjourned meeting of the City Council held on
the 15th day of November, 1943, by the following vote:
