HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 928 RESOLUTION NO, 92 RESOLVED, that a ration bank account, or accounts, as de- fined in General Ration Order No. 3, be opened and maintained in the name of this Corporation with Security-First National Bank or one of its branches, which bank shall act as ,an. agency of and under the direction and supervision of the Office of Price Admin- istration and shall be responsible only to the Office of Price Administration; that (any of the following officers or employees of this corporation; C. Newland Deputy City Clerk Helen Axton Deputy City Clerk are hereby) authorized, on behalf of this Corporation, and in its I name; To sign ration checks, as defined in said Order; to indorse ration checks, or other ration evidences, awned, or held by this Corporation, for deposit:- in said account; and FURTHER RESOLVED, ghat the City Clerk shall certify to said Bank and the Office of Price Administration the names of such officers and employees at present , and shall from time to time hereafter, as changes in the personnel are made, immediately certify such changes to the bank and the Office of Price Adminis. ` tration; and FURTHER RESOLVED, that Security--First 'National Bank be and it hereby is authorized to receive and honor all ration cheeks signed in accordance with the foregoing resolution, and such certification by the City Clerk, and FURTHER RESOLVED, that the foregoing resolution shall remain in full force and effect until written notice of their .. 1 '?eso. No. 928 amendment or rescission shall have been received by said Bank, and FURTHER RESOLVED, that the foregoing authorization and resolution shall apply to any and all ration bank accounts which this Corporation now is or may at any future time be required or authorized by the Office of Price Administration to open or maintain, without further authorization from this City Council; and Further resolved, that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to certify to said Security First National Bank and to the Office of Price Administra— tion the foregoing resolution and that the provisions there— of are in conformity with the ordinances of this City. I further certify that there is no provision in the ordinances of said Corporation limiting the power of the City Council to pass the foregoing resolutions and that the same are in conformity with the provisions of said. ordinances.
