HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 930 RESOLUTION NO. 930 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA. The City Council of ,the City of Huntington Beach, California, do resolve as follows: Section 1: That the General Municipal Election, to be held in the City of Huntington Beach, California, on Tuesday April 11, 1944, shall be held and conducted pursuant to the following provisions therefor, which provisions are hereby determined and adopted by the City Council of said City of Huntington Beach for holding said election. Section 2: That at said election there shall be four (4) voting precincts, consisting of a consolida- tion of the regular election precincts last established for holding general state or county elections , as follows: Consolidated voting Precinct "A" , compris ing state and county election precincts numbers Hunting- ton Beach One and Two, and the polling place thereof shall be in the Memorial Hall located on Sixth Street near the intersection of Magnolia, Avenue and Sixth Street in said City, Consolidated voting Precinct "B" , compris- ing state and county election precincts numbers Hunting- ton Beach Three and Four, and the polling place thereof shall be at Evangeline Hotel 421 Eighth Street 1 in said City. Consolidated voting Precinct "D" compris— ing state and county election precincts numbers Hunting- ton Beach Seven and Eight , and the polling place thereof shall be Street and Alabama AtenUe in said City. M. and 7:00 o'clock P. M. Section 6: That each of said officers above mentioned is an elector and a resident of the consoli- dated voting precinct for which he or she is appointed. Section 7: That said election shall in all respects be conducted as provided by law.
