HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council - 938 RESOLUTION NO. 2:1 " A RESOLUTIOlI OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, SELLING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHOR- IZING A DEED THEREFORE. WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, held on the 3rd day of April , 1944, certain lots were offerred for sale, and WHEREAS, W. K. BALLOUGH and MARGLMITE BALLOUGH, husband and wife , as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, bid the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars, for Lots Six (6) and Eight ( 8) , in Block Three Hundred Twelve ( 312) , Huntington Beach Tract, as per map recorded in Book 3, Page 36 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems that it is for the best interest of said City that said bid be accepted and said property be sold and returned to the assessment role, and WHEREAS, said price offerred is just, fair and ad- equate end is not disportionate to the market value of the above described real property. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, that the above described property be and the same is hereby sold to W. K. BALLOUGH and MARGMRITE BALLOUGH, husband and wife , as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, free and clear of all encumbrances, except subject to covenants, conditions, reservations, restrictions and rights of way of records, if any, -1- Res©. No. 93$ for the total sum of Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars, and be it further resolved that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are heresy authorized to execute and deliver a. Deed to said W. K. BALLOUGH and MARG%UTE BALLOUGH, husband and wife, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, upon receipt of the consideration therefore.
