A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR SAID CITY OF HUNTINGTON BEACH FOR THE FISCAL YEAR. 194+ •- 1945. WHEREAS, the assessed valuation of the taxable prop- erty of the City of Huntington Beach, California, as assessed by the City Assessor and fixed by the Board of Equalization of said City for the fiscal year 1944-1945 is $11,243,360.00, and WHEREAS, the City Council of said City of Huntington Beach finds that the amount of money necessary to be raised by taxation on property of said City of Huntington Beach, as a revenue for various departments of said City, for the current fiscal year and to pay bonded and other indebtedness of the City of Huntington Beach, is as follows, to--wit: 1. general Fund 134,920.00 2. Music & Promotion 141'065.00 3. Library 9,433•00 4, Wharf Bonds, Interest & Redemp- tion 1,799.E 5. Sewer Bonds, Interest Redemption 899.00 6. City Hall Bonds, Interest & Redemption 2,424.00 7. Wharf Reconstruction Bonds, Interest & Redemption 3,373.00 8. Wharf Extension Bonds, Interest & Redemption 2,586.04 9. Municipal Park & Playground Bonds, Interest & Redemption .�:9 .00 Reso. No. 949 WHEREAS, a tax rate of one hundred and sixty cents ( 1.60) upon each one hundred dollars ( 100.00) assessed value of the property in said City as assessed by the Assessor and equalized by the City Council, sitting As a Board of Equalization, is sufficient to raise the amount of money so to be necessary. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Huntington Beach, California, that `the rate of taxation for the said City of Huntington Beach for the current fiscal year 1944-1945 be fixed at one hundred and, sixty cents ( 1.60) upon each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of said assessment valuation of property in said City, she said rate to be aggregated as follows: 1. General Fund 120 cents 2. Music & *omotion 15 cents 3. Library 7.5 cents 4. Wharf Bonds, Interest & Redemption 1.6 cents 5 Sewer Bonds, Interest &Redemption .9 cents 6. City Hall Bonds, Interest & Re— demption 1.8 cents 7. Wharf Reconstruction- Bonds, Interest & Redemption 3 cents 9. Wharf Extension Bonds, Interest & Redemption 2.3 cents 9. Municipal Park & Playground 1939, Interest & Redemption 8 cents 160 cents Reso.
